This time with the new poster campaign. This is getting tiresome. Lads & lassies in FG – please hire some serious, Irish online PR professionals to handle your campaign.
Spotted this in the Boards.ie gallery, created by the eagle-eyed Superbus on Bricfeasta.com‘s FG poster generator. Gallery image:
pity they didn’t use the image 3 to the right…
That group of people certainly gets around – http://www.tineye.com/search/3f3bc1407d50928f3ba66470d71f595f8e86e37a/?page=1&sort=score&order=desc
As stock photography goes, it seems to be a pretty popular shot! Also used by microsoft and the EU (button on top left), amongst others.
It’s a little weird isn’t it? Irish political party unable to find photograph of Irish people…
Not a supporter but come on, FG hardly actually went and sourced the image, and so what its a stock photo…thats what design companies use stock imagery. They hardly ask the company they get their images of to guarantee that all the people in the image are Irish.
The more interesting issue is the fact that FG are trying to ride any social media wave or current trend thats going and failing so badly it hurts. Instead of getting theie polices out there once again they are more obsessed with image and it looks like they hired someones tech savvy kid to re brand them.
Ive been visiting your blog for a while now and I always find a gem in your new posts. Thanks for sharing.
